Volunteer at the Food Pantry and help end local hunger

When it comes to volunteering and service, your personality and your strengths play a major role in the types of activities you’ll enjoy most. We currently average 164 volunteers a month and we are always looking to increase our volunteer base to better support our community.

DRESS CODE:
Dress comfortably with tennis shoes.

VOLUNTEER PROJECTS:

  • Unload/Restocking Volunteers: volunteers will arrive on Thursdays and Fridays to assist with the unloading of food and restocking our pantry in all areas.

  • Welcome Team (Care, Share, Prayer): volunteers will help with the new applicant intake process on Saturdays, assessing the new client, providing food and care as well as communicating the transition into our appointment process.

  • Pick Up & Go: volunteer will deliver food to a recipients designated parking spot upon arrival.

  • Grocery Cart runner

  • Prayer Team

  • Break-down boxes

  • Clean up

HOURS:
Thursday Unloading 10:00am-12:30pm
Friday Unloading: 10:30am-1:30pm
Saturday: 8:30-10:30am OR 10:30am-1:00pm

VOLUNTEER AS A FAMILY:
We encourage families to volunteer together, but ask that only children 8 years and above are present. All children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Students from middle and high school are welcome to complete any school-required service hours.


Relief Team
